Referee Registration for 2018 —
Registration is now open for the 2018 season. It is done on-line only. Registration after December 31, 2017 will have late fees applied, so please register now. ENYSRA has provided three documents to guide you in the process:
- 2018 Step-by-Step Re-registration Guide – on-line registration guide for existing users of GameOfficials.net. Refer also to the ENY 2018 Registration Help Handout.
- ENY 2018 Registration Help Handout – points you to the proper course to sign up for, registration fee to be paid, and recertification test to be taken.
- 2018 Step-by-Step New Registration Guide – on-line registration guide for new users of GameOfficials.net. Explains setting up your user name and password, and how to register for referee courses for new officials or for upgrade from grade 9 to 8 or from grade 8 to 7. There are also courses for Instructors, Assessors, and Assigners.
Passing grade for the tests is 80%, and you are allowed five attempts to pass. Questions are shuffled each time.
The Referee courses are primarily for new users. However, an existing official — one who already has a USSF ID# — who has been away from officiating for more than two years must re-take the course. At the conclusion of the course, that person is classified a "returning official," rather than a "new official".
The ENY fees for courses are:
- Grade 9 - $140
- Grade 8 - $170
- All Bridge courses (9 to 8, 8 to 7) - $85
